About the role

Jhool is looking for a BI Data analyst who will be instrumental in building and maintaining our data analysis systems, primarily utilising BigQuery as the data source. You will be responsible for setting up, integrating, and managing other relevant analysis tools and processes to derive actionable insights from our data. This role requires a proactive individual who can navigate the complexities of healthcare data, ensuring compliance with all relevant data protection regulations while unlocking the potential of data to transform the practices that use our service.

The role reports to the technical lead of the team.

Responsibilities

• Identify, evaluate, and integrate additional analysis tools and software that complement BigQuery and enhance our data analysis capabilities.
• Develop and automate reports, dashboards, and metrics to monitor the performance of our services, patient outcomes, and operational efficiency.
• Work closely with clinical and administrative teams to understand their data needs and provide BI solutions that support decision-making and strategy development.
• Take ownership of the BI process from data collection and cleaning to analysis and reporting, ensuring that our practice gains meaningful insights from our data.
• Conduct ad-hoc data analysis as required to support specific projects or initiatives within the practice.

Required skills and experience

• Must have
  • Proven experience in a BI/Data Analyst role
  • Strong proficiency in SQL and experience working with BigQuery or similar cloud data warehouses.
  • Experience setting up and managing BI tools and platforms.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
